Request deletion of your CribNosh data

CribNosh users can request deletion of personal data associated with their app account without necessarily deleting the whole account.

How to request deletion

Tell us what personal data you want deleted. You can request deletion of specific data, such as saved addresses or preferences, or ask us to delete all eligible personal data linked to your CribNosh account.

  1. 1Email privacy@cribnosh.co.uk with the subject 'Delete my CribNosh data'.
  2. 2Include the email address and phone number linked to your CribNosh account, plus your full name.
  3. 3Specify the data you want deleted, such as saved addresses, profile details, food preferences, support history, or all eligible personal data.
  4. 4We will verify the request, confirm receipt, and process eligible deletion within one month unless a legal exception applies.

Data we delete

  • Profile details you ask us to remove, such as name, phone number, and optional profile information.
  • Saved delivery addresses and location preferences you ask us to remove.
  • Food preferences, dietary notes, favourites, and personalization settings you ask us to remove.
  • Marketing preferences and non-essential app activity linked to your account.
  • Support information that is no longer needed after the request is completed.
  • Other eligible personal data you identify in your request.

Data we may keep

  • Data needed to keep your account working if you ask us to delete only selected information rather than the whole account.
  • Order, payment, refund, invoice, tax, and accounting records where CribNosh must keep them for legal, regulatory, dispute, or fraud-prevention reasons.
  • Records needed to complete active orders, resolve open complaints, investigate safety issues, or protect the rights of users, food creators, delivery partners, and CribNosh.
  • Anonymised or aggregated analytics that no longer identifies you.
  • Backup copies until they are overwritten or deleted through our normal backup cycle.

Retention period

Most eligible personal data is deleted or anonymised within one month after verification. Some transaction, accounting, tax, legal, safety, and fraud-prevention records may be kept for up to six years, or longer if required by law or an active dispute. Backup copies are normally removed from active backup rotation within 90 days.
