Community Guidelines

Last updated: 11 July 2026

Effective Date: 11 July 2026

1. Purpose

These Community Guidelines help keep CribNosh safer for customers, Food Creators, Drivers, families, and people who use our social, video, review, comment, story, live, messaging, and support surfaces.

These Guidelines apply across the Platform, including ordering flows, creator profiles, menus, reviews, comments, live sessions, videos, stories, chats where relevant, reporting flows, and support interactions.

2. Respect and Dignity

You must not:

  • bully, harass, shame, stalk, threaten, or intimidate another person;
  • target a person with repeated abuse, dogpiling, humiliation, or coordinated harassment;
  • use hateful, degrading, or dehumanising language about protected traits;
  • encourage suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous conduct;
  • sexually harass, sexually exploit, or coerce another person;
  • groom, sexualise, exploit, or otherwise endanger children or young people; or
  • celebrate, encourage, or threaten serious violence.

3. Privacy and Personal Information

You must not:

  • doxx another person;
  • post private addresses, phone numbers, government identifiers, or payment details without permission;
  • expose private communications or sensitive personal data in a harmful way;
  • use profile content, delivery details, or support information to target or threaten another person; or
  • try to bypass CribNosh contact redaction or account-protection systems.

4. Fraud, Scams, and Deception

You must not:

  • impersonate another person, creator, driver, business, or CribNosh representative;
  • run scams, phishing schemes, fake giveaways, fake support outreach, or deceptive promotions;
  • manipulate reviews, ratings, rewards, creator incentives, support claims, or report systems;
  • create false safety claims, fake complaints, fake delivery evidence, or fake legal notices;
  • share contact details, payment details, or social handles to move transactions off-platform or avoid fees; or
  • mislead users about food, allergens, ingredients, price, identity, certification, or availability.

5. Illegal, Exploitative, and Dangerous Content

You must not post, upload, stream, share, or otherwise make available:

  • illegal content;
  • child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors;
  • revenge porn or non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • terrorist or extremist content;
  • violent threats or instructions for serious harm;
  • fraud manuals or criminal facilitation content;
  • illegal drug sales or unlawful goods;
  • content that materially promotes dangerous food-safety behaviour where serious harm is foreseeable; or
  • other content we reasonably believe presents a serious legal or safety risk.

Severe UGC violations in this category may lead to immediate content removal, account restriction, referral to law enforcement or regulators where appropriate, and permanent account termination.

6. Food, Marketplace, and Delivery Safety

Food Creators, Drivers, and customers must not use the Platform in a way that creates avoidable food-safety, delivery, or public-safety risk.

This includes:

  • false allergen or ingredient information;
  • unsafe substitutions;
  • unsafe packaging or handoff practices;
  • misleading creator or kitchen claims;
  • using an unapproved premises or location where approval is required;
  • unsafe delivery conduct;
  • fabricated proof-of-delivery; and
  • abusive behaviour toward customers, creators, drivers, support staff, or members of the public.

7. Authentic Content and Intellectual Property

You must not:

  • post content you do not own or have permission to use;
  • copy or repost another creator's content in a misleading or infringing way;
  • upload stolen menus, recipes, videos, or brand assets;
  • falsely claim authorship or ownership; or
  • abuse the Platform for copyright piracy or repeated infringement.

You must not use UGC features to:

  • create fake creator, customer, driver, or support identities;
  • stage or fabricate reviews, testimonials, complaints, screenshots, comments, or support evidence;
  • post manipulated or deceptively edited media intended to mislead users about safety, food quality, identity, fulfilment, or events on the Platform; or
  • misrepresent sponsorships, affiliations, certifications, inspections, kitchens, businesses, or commercial relationships.

8. Spam, Manipulation, and Platform Abuse

You must not:

  • spam comments, messages, reviews, or reports;
  • artificially inflate views, likes, ratings, follows, or engagement;
  • scrape or systematically extract Platform data;
  • use bots or automation in a harmful or unauthorised way;
  • evade moderation, safety, or account restrictions; or
  • create alternate accounts to continue abuse after enforcement.

You must not:

  • mass-post repetitive, irrelevant, misleading, or low-quality UGC to game search, discovery, or recommendations;
  • coordinate brigading, dogpiling, review-bombing, false reporting, or engagement manipulation;
  • repeatedly delete, hide, flag, restore, repost, or recycle UGC in a way that appears evasive, abusive, manipulative, or designed to defeat enforcement;
  • use UGC or profile surfaces to route users off-platform for prohibited transactions, payment evasion, harassment, or unsafe contact; or
  • repeatedly attempt to repost or redistribute content that has already been removed for policy, legal, safety, or copyright reasons.

9. Reports, Blocking, and User Controls

We may offer tools such as report, block, mute, hide, see-less, limit-audience, or similar controls. These tools are important, but not every surface or situation will provide the same controls at all times.

If you use reporting tools:

  • provide truthful information;
  • do not file false, abusive, retaliatory, or manipulative reports;
  • provide relevant evidence where requested; and
  • understand that some reports may lead to warning, removal, restriction, suspension, legal escalation, or no action depending on the evidence.

10. Moderation and Enforcement

CribNosh may use automated and human review to detect and handle abuse, safety issues, fraud, and policy breaches.

We may:

  • remove content;
  • limit visibility or distribution;
  • disable comments or interactions;
  • block or restrict audience reach;
  • mute, shadow-limit, or suspend accounts or features;
  • cancel affected orders or pause related workflows;
  • preserve evidence, metadata, and operational records;
  • require additional information or declarations;
  • refer matters to legal, insurers, regulators, or law enforcement where appropriate; and
  • permanently remove users for severe or repeated violations.

Without limitation, severe or repeated UGC-related violations that may lead to suspension or permanent removal include:

  • child sexual abuse material, sexual content involving minors, grooming, or youth sexualisation;
  • non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, coercive sexual content, or serious sexual harassment;
  • credible violent threats, extremist content, criminal facilitation, fraud manuals, or serious dangerous-content abuse;
  • hate speech, targeted harassment, doxxing, stalking, or repeated abusive conduct;
  • repeated scams, impersonation, phishing, fake support, fake giveaway, fake creator, or deceptive commercial content;
  • repeated fake reviews, fake complaints, fake evidence, manipulated screenshots, or other falsified UGC used to mislead users or CribNosh;
  • repeated copyright infringement, stolen media, brand misuse, or deceptive reposting;
  • repeated spam, bot-driven abuse, engagement manipulation, false reporting, or moderation evasion;
  • use of UGC to facilitate illegal sales, prohibited goods, unsafe food practices, or off-platform abuse; and
  • repeated attempts to return through new or replacement accounts after UGC-related enforcement.

11. Children and Youth Safety

We take child and youth safety seriously. We may remove content, restrict access, or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe a user or piece of content creates a risk of child exploitation, sexualisation of minors, grooming, predation, or other child-safety harm.

12. Live and Real-Time Features

Live sessions, live comments, stories, video uploads, and other fast-moving UGC features may be subject to additional controls, including:

  • temporary muting;
  • comment restriction;
  • audience limitation;
  • live interruption or shutdown;
  • post-live review;
  • temporary distribution limits; and
  • later takedown or account action.

13. Appeals and Complaints

Some moderation, copyright, safety, and account actions may have an appeal or complaint process. Where such a process exists:

  • deadlines may apply;
  • evidence requirements may apply;
  • not every action is appealable; and
  • unsupported, abusive, repetitive, or stale appeals may be closed without reopening the matter.

Where an appeal path is offered for UGC-related enforcement, users should normally appeal promptly and, unless we state a different deadline, within 14 days, and should include the relevant account, content, context, and supporting evidence. Not every removal, restriction, or ban will be eligible for appeal, especially where we reasonably believe there is child-safety risk, sexual exploitation, serious violence risk, fraud, impersonation, copyright abuse, legal exposure, or repeated evasion.

14. Relationship to Other Policies

These Guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, creator and driver terms, and copyright or takedown policies.

If conduct violates more than one policy, we may enforce under any or all applicable policies.

15. Contact
